 Since 2006

Welcome to Stillpoint  Mindfulness 

Stillpoint was founded by Janet Curry in 2006 to offer the most effective evidence-based approaches available for cultivating health, well-being, and ease.  We do this via two main pathways: mindfulness coaching for individuals, and group Mindfulness-Based courses.

With the unpredictable, uncertain, and ever-changing nature of the world never more apparent than it is today, many of us are experiencing stress and daily challenges on an unprecedented scale.  

We feel its impact in our work, finances, families, and communities, and in our health—mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual.

In such a climate, the decision to explore ways of coping more skillfully and compassionately with difficulties and dis-ease is not only pro-active but also wise.  It is a way of taking charge of your own health and well-being—your own life—and of discovering and recovering your own innate resources for learning, growing and healing.

Our Mission

Stillpoint’s mission is to cultivate present-moment awareness in the lives of individuals, organizations, and communities by providing mindfulness-based counseling and training.   Stillpoint supports individuals in recognizing and developing their own innate resources for coping with difficulty, and for bringing what’s deepest and best in them to the challenge of living well right in the midst of life’s ongoing demands. 

Our Vision

Stillpoint envisions a world in which people of all ages, genders, race, sexual orientations, and all cultural, economic, and educational backgrounds can, through moment-to-moment awareness and a sense of deep compassion, step out of destructive patterns of reactivity and engage with greater insight, clarity, and wisdom for the benefit and healing of ourselves, our communities, and the world.

Janet Curry

Janet Curry founded Stillpoint in 2006 as a private practice offering counseling and Mindfulness-Based training programs out of Durango, CO. Currently residing in Santa Fe, NM, Janet coaches clients and teaches mindfulness to students across the globe.
